Battle guide: How to defeat it.

Fighting in a group until the Roche fight.

Difficulty hard can be a struggle at this stage.

With Steadfast Block Materia, the ATB gauge in group battles builds up smoothly.

If you are unsure, continue to use it so that you don't cut the barrier.


Once the ATB gauge builds up, take it down with a Triple Slash.

When the ATB is gone, it's safe to repeat the process of building up the gauge with a guard.


Defeat the Riot Trooper as soon as possible with fire.

Shock Trooper is recommended to counter in punisher mode.

Sweepers should attack with a Triple Slash while building up their ATB gauge in guard.

Once you're in Pressured mode, attack with a series of slashes in Punisher mode.


1st Level (HP Gauge from about 100%)

・Normal Attack

When you are ready to swing your sword, it is a normal attack.

This one is recommended to counter in punisher mode and turn directly into an attack.

If you have enough ATB gauge, Counterstance to do a lot of damage.


・Magic Attack

Lower your bare hands and when your body glows, it becomes a magic attack.

We recommend that you guard in Operator Mode and turn to attack.


2nd Level (HP Gauge from about 70%)

Basically, I recommend that you fight with the same standing as the first level.


・Ignition Flame

You'll take heavy damage, so keep plenty of HP.
