Battle guide: How to defeat it.

This will be the first in a series of fights since the Whisper Battle.→Whispers battle guide(Boss-Hard)

In this boss fight, I equipped Cloud with anGotterdammerungto fight the enemy.

Sephiroth can block Acsention in first and second Level.

Only use it when you are in a Pressured or Staggered state.

Note that the Pressured state at the first and second levels is short.

1st Level (HP Gauge from about 100%)

・Telluric Fury or Aeolian Onslaught

This move can be dealt with by Punisher Mode -> Counter or a Counterstance.

・Ga-based magic

He will attack you with Firaga and Brizzaga.

We can guard in Operator mode.

2nd Level (HP Gauge from about 80%)

Join Aerith

As with the first level, use the Punisher mode & Operator mode to attack with cloud control.

・Hell's Gate

In addition to the same techniques and magic as the first level, a Hell's Gate is added.

Probably impossible to guard and counter.

I recommend switching to another companion and turning to the attack immediately.

3rd Level (HP Gauge from about 60%)

Join Barret or Tifa

・Switch and attack with a control switch.

If you're targeted by Sephiroth, you won't have a chance to counterattack, so if you're targeted, I recommend switching to attack or abilities.

If you're used to Sephiroth's physical attacks, I recommend a Punisher mode counter or a CounterstancE

・Octaslash

One activation will deal two damage to Cloud's Counterstance.

If your HP is low, use your allies' Curaga to recover your HP.

4th Level (HP Gauge from about 20%)

Activate the Divine Proclamation at the start. Starting with a count of 9, when it reaches 0, it takes 9,999 damage and is wiped out.

Sephiroth doesn't move much, so be proactive in dealing damage!

・Heartless Angel

Reduces the HP of allies in the circle to 1.

Basically, I recommend attacking from a distance with Aeris Control.

Leave enough ATB for one, so that you can recover as soon as you get hit by Heartless Angel.
